Introduction

Have you ever noticed a lack of gender diversity in some of the classes you have taken? Ever wondered what the gender demographics of your major are? What do you think are the least gender diverse programs on campus? These questions may lead to a deeper conversation regarding historical gender norms and the slow progression of gender diversity in certain professional spaces. This visualization aims to provide gender demographic information at UIUC to help enrich those conversations and pique your curiousity.
